Last Season for 2009 : Chiffon Class



Occasionally, I have people asking me whether can they use chiffon cake as " birthday cake" as chiffon cake are lighter in texture as compared to the others.
My ans is " Why not?", in fact most people would prefer Chiffon cake as they are lighter and you will not feel guilty after eating it as it is soo light and flavourful
You can decorate your Chiffon cake either with whipped cream or sugar syrup and voila, you get your own decorated Chiffon cake
Our chiffon class on 25th Oct ( Sun) would be the last class for this year, so grab this chance and join us in making fluffy, light as cloud Chiffon cakes in these variations, strawberry, orange, vanilla, Pandan and chocolate Chiffons in cupcake cases =)

BAKING IN 90 MIN
Each hands-on workshop is only 90 min, so it's perfect if you want to pick up a recipe and a new baking skill - fast! You will learn a master recipe with easy flavour variations, and then bake your own goodies from scratch, hands-on.

X'mas Holiday Baking
In this special X'mas workshop, you will learn how to make soft and yummy cinnamon rolls with lemon glaze, moist banana cake with crunchy almond streusal and crisp gingerbread biscuits. (That's a bread recipe, a cake recipe and a cookie recipe all in one workshop!)

The Art Of Chiffon Class

This afternoon, I had another fun time with these bunch of ladies for the Chiffon Art Class, this is what was served during " break time', glad they love the fluffy and light texture of the cake.

2 Tier cake class



2 tier cake is lavish to have at any wedding, birthday or celebrations. It is also a piece of art to all. Now I will be teaching this pretty 2 tier cake on the 1st Nov and I will showing all how to bake their own Orange and Cinnamon Cake, which represent a moist, orangy cake with a tinge of cinnamon, this cake goes so well with Cream cheese icing, its defintely worth a Thumbs Up

All students would be doing their own Hands-on decorating in class, decorating techniques would also be taught in class :
(i) Torting and filling cakes
(ii) Crumbcoating and covering with rolled fondant
(iii) Stacked construction method
(iv) Decorating with fondant or royal icing
